Cosmo is planning to invest in expanding its manufacturing footprint in India in the next few years. It has set up the country’s largest BOPP line at one of its existing facilities which is already running at its full capacity.
The investments announced by Future include a speciality BOPET line which is expected to be commissioned by December 2018, and a CPP line and a metalliser, which are expected to be commissioned by the end of 2017.
The company has acquired 32 acres of land adjacent to its plant in Aurangabad for these expansion plans and for the future. “Going forward, the company also plans to get into related B2C businesses and create more value and wealth for its shareholders,
