manufacturing. Aurangabad will be the showcase for Maharashtra’s strengths in manufacturing and technology— automobiles, textiles, apparel, consumer durables, and green industry. It will be the next sought after trade city, venue for manufacturing-related research and design, and high-tech hub centrally located within the state. The strategic location of the Shendra-Bidkin Industrial Area places it at the convergence of Maharashtra’s production, manufacturing, and tourism (historic sites).
