Meet Ayaan Mirza Baig, the 15-year-old who installed an air-cooling system inside his father’s autorickshaw

Ayaan Mirza Baig, who invented Air Cooling system for his father’s Auto Rickshaws as he couldn’t drive auto due to extreme heatwave during summer. Considering the problem Ayaan Mirza Baig built a compact Air Cooler for the Auto Rickshaws.
The fans are installed at the top in front of the driver’s seat. The fan chamber is connected with a pipe to a tank fixed in the storage area of the rickshaw behind the passenger seat. The cool air from the tank goes to the fan chamber, which then provides cool air. The roof of the auto rickshaw is insulated with foam and the entire system is concealed with a flannel mat.

Aaayan Mirza Baig aspires to be a Mechanical Engineer from IIT in near future. “I purchased three 12-volt fan motors, three fans, another 12-volt motor for pumping, a tank, PVC pipe, foam and mat from weekly market. I was working on this since last year whenever I got time from studies” said Ayaan.
