POPSK Aurangabad stands 5th in delivering fast & prompt service to citizens

The Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) Aurangabad, which was started here recently, has stood fifth in the country for giving fast and prompt service to the citizens.

Speaking to reporters at Maharashtra Information Center here on Friday, Dnyaneshwar Mule, Secretary in Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA), said two other cities in the state – Kolhapur and Pimpri-Chinchwad – had also found place in the list of first five centers in the country. The centre had announced to start 251 POPSK in the country of which 59 centers began working in the first phase. The Aurangabad POPSK in the past ten months had distributed 14,973 passports and ranked fifth in the list of top five, he added.
