Maharashtra Economic Survey 2019-20 MSME Statistics of Aurangabad region

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in Aurangabad have attracted Rs 22,604 crore capital investment, according to the Economic Survey of Maharashtra (2019-20).

The said investment is 10.6 per cent of the total Rs 2, 13,400 crore investment the sector has attracted in Maharashtra during the period, reveals the survey, which was presented in the state Legislature in last week.

As per the survey report , a total of 14, 90,202 Udyog Aadhars were issued to MSMEs in the state since 2015, of which 1,52,955 were generated in the Aurangabad region.

The survey also states that a total of 78.92 lakh jobs were generated by the sector across the state, of which 7.56 lakh were in the Aurangabad region, which is 9.6% of total jobs generated in the State.
